As the leaves turn and the air cools, it’s that time of year again – Thanksgiving! A holiday filled with gratitude, family gatherings, and, of course, delicious food. For many, this occasion is made even more special with a glass of wine in hand. At Hafner Vineyard, we’re honored that our patrons have been serving Hafner wine at Thanksgiving for decades and across generations. 

For many patrons, wine is an integral part of their Thanksgiving traditions. Some have started new rituals, like appetizers with our Blanc de Blancs, while others continue a years’ long tradition of a sibling photo with a Hafner Chardonnay magnum. As families grow and evolve, we love to hear how our wines become part of your evolving traditions.

Thanksgiving dinner is a feast with a delightful tapestry of dishes, which means that there’s always an opportunity for many unique pairings. One of the wonderful things about wine is that everyone is allowed their own personal preference. We believe there are no rights or wrongs with food and wine pairings; it’s all about enjoyment!  
Whether it is the Chardonnay’s crisp notes to complement the richness of mashed potatoes, or the bright acidity of Rosé with the turkey, or an aged Cabernet to add complexity to the autumn side dishes, there’s something for everyone.

One of the most heartwarming traditions of Thanksgiving is gathering around the table with loved ones. We are deeply honored that patrons all over the country and for decades have raised a glass of Hafner wine to toast family, friends, gratitude and togetherness.
