“I am excited that Steptoe has invited Hafner Vineyard to participate in our firm Marketplace. I first visited the Hafner Vineyards in 2005 with a client who went to college with one of the co-owners. The winery is nestled in a quiet valley in Sonoma County and seems like a business from a different age: small, family run (one son is the winemaker and the other handles the marketing), tied to the land, thoughtful and sincere. It was love at first taste for me and, because they only sell their wines directly to patrons at home, we began stocking our cellar with Hafner wines and sending them to colleagues and friends as gifts. It is now a sixteen-year tradition in our family.
The wines are terrific, priced at a great value, and the service is top notch. You can order with confidence knowing that all the wine will be appreciated, details will be taken care of and someone is always there to help. I've lost count of the number of bottles of Hafner I personally have helped to consume in the last 16 years but I can assure you that I enjoyed each and every one and I don't expect that consumption to abate any time soon.”
