Wine lovers appreciate the opportunity to taste a young vintage against one that’s had the benefit of additional aging. And we guarantee you won’t find this opportunity to compare six and twelve-year-old Cabernets anywhere else.

This mixed case includes six bottles of each vintage. A great way to add depth to your cellar or hand out the bottles individually as gifts. 

With twelve years of age, the 2012 is soft and elegant with aromas of rviolets, blackberry jam, black cherries, cassis and forest floor. It is well integrated with flavors of beef tartare, black pepper and bittersweet chocolate. It has a nice structure and a long, lingering finish. If cellared carefully, it will continue to develop and mature for at least another seven years. 

In comparison, the 2018 Cabernet is fruit-forward and youthful. It opens with ripe aromas of blackberries, cassis, Bing cherries, cinnamon and vanilla bean. Bright and lively on the palate, it has notes of nutmeg, Picholine olives, dark chocolate and steak tartare. Its long, chewy finish adds depth and complexity to the wine. At six years of age, the 2018 is young in comparison to its predecessors, but it has the structure and richness to age well for at least fifteen years.
